Big thanks to huey for the birthday waves today. Had some fun rights at a local fickle novelty spot that usually only breaks on big swells. Swell wasn't that big, but the direction created some fun rights with only a couple of other blokes out
Then I took some pics for about 10 mins at a local beachie that fired up nicely last time this happened, about 2014. Pretty packed, but it was certainly loving the N swell. I don't believe in global warming, I know Tokyo has been snowing the last few years which it did not before. History shows climates change naturally, way before humans had any impact. But anyway, I sure would love to see more climate change & more of these Northerly swells, fark yeah
Saw some nice pics of triggs point cranking...would of been a lot of good places today, I was a bit torn about where to head. But settled for somewhere close after celebrating yesterday & waking up at 8 haha...but anyway hope yaz scored, feel free to add your own pics from today...cheers
Yeeeeewwwww!! You scored!
I was amongst the horrendous manners of Perth's favourite stretch. Left it too late for round 2 unfortunately... Same manners though.
Got to the beach thinking I must be on the Goldcoast with the banks everywhere. Watched a couple of blokes nearly come to fists since they didn't know how to share.
Great Pics, thanks guys,,,,,,,I travelled 50 minutes and got to Triggs, I don't usually surf on the weekend...the crowd was insane.......glad I went out though ,there were some really nice waves.
Great pics Paul, I lived on Hastings just up behind that stretch 89-91. Its like a mirror image of how it sometimes breaks with super quick peeling lefts. I've never seen it like that
There's a place that doesn't usualy have to many waves up north that would of cooked on that direction...surfed it in 92 during Cyclone Harriet I think.....very long wave
Can imagine mate, the offshore reef I used to love surfing down in the little town to the South of your hometown would of been smoking

That's a fair hike from Hastings Mick.
To be fair it's an impressive camera lens. I did a double take when I saw the drain block and realised where Paul was standing.
Could of sworn there was a pic of the floreat drainpipe before & assumed pics were taken from the floreat groyne mostly to the North with a few bluuured shots to the South that I thought were city beach groyne. But now that you point it out I guess the blurred shots were Freo groyne & the bloke took the pics from a dune South of City Beach groyne. Dunno I havnt lived in Perth for over 30 years. Just stoked to have not been working on a day I would usually be working & scoring something special...cheers
Come on, must be way more pics out there...no need to name or scrutinise location. Just post up some pics ffs, I saw heaps of peeps with cams
