Thumbs Up

Hey all,

So my 12 y/o daughter is getting pretty good at surfing, riding across the wave nicely and doing cut-backs. Her current board is 7 foot softy that needs to be replaced as it feels a bit water logged, plus she could get something that is more responsive for turning. It needs to be soft as her home beach is a city beach.

Staying with a board with a bit of volume to help her catch waves, which would be better for her to advance on, a shorter wider board, say a 5'10/43L or a 6'/37L

Cheers

Those fanning boards are pretty decent mate - come wih soft fins for the mrs/kids, but you can pop a proper set in there if you want to have a crack or for when your daughter progresses.

They are heavier than other boards, but dont bend/flex like other softies. Great fun in close outs or crowded beachies!
