I have a fair few boards that need repairing. The main one of the quiver has copped a leash pull through from the nose to above where the front foot sits . Just imagine slicing a block of cheese with a steel wire.

Anyway I need some advice. My plan is to tape off the bottom of the board, mix some resin with Q cell and fill the gap with this mixture. Let it harden, sand it down then add fibre glass to the top, sand it down and then fireglass the bottom of the board . Reckon this will work?

The question is what resin and how much of it should i get. I want the mixture to be like toothpaste or cake paste something along those lines. I'm in Perth and hoping to go on a surf trip next week so if you know of any local resign / q cell sellers please put their shops in the comments.

Cheers

need some photos mate to get an idea - or go see Colin Earle in Osbourne Park - take the board too and they can give you a quick good idea of how much resin etc required
