Has anyone had any experience with the eco bean 2 or other popout boards from the surfboard warehouse? If so what are your thoughts? Thanks.

Confucius say, "poor man pays twice"
These are ideal from knee to waist/chest high slower moving swells....when the swell thickens up and move fast jump on a PU McCoy.They compliment each other.
In tiny weak waves, i use mine as a knee rider....makes a 2ft wave around shoulder high.Great fun and it substitutes for a longboard.
Yes, popped out Asian product but they work.CHeeeeeP but not nasty.
I have one of the villains for around perth
great paddle power, fast and turns quite nicely, not bad for $425, only thing is you wont get any money back if you sell it
At 5'6 it fits in the car perfectly as well
no complaints from me
Eco bean 2 is a really fun board, I ride the quad set up with 6 inch fins on the 5'6 its very flowy and fast, makes through the phat sections like a skim board. Handles like an ocean liner so if you like having a bit of whip its not for you. I use it from 1 foot to about 4 foot when its fat. You can pretty much catch anything you want as long as its not too steep or youll have to grab that rail, the booty on it is super big and round so it carries you like a longboard. The construction isn't ideal and nowhere near what youll get from a $1000 board but for $425 its well worth it!
I recommend it. especially if youre the type of person who gets a new board every couple of years anyway.
Why spend 400 on a Chinese heap of sh!t. For an extra couple of hundred you can get a local custom.
I understand the initial draw to a cheap board, but it's not going to make you feel as good as splashing out a little more for something you'll really appreciate.
If you're looking at a shape like the eco bean then going to your local shaper could well take them 2 to 3 goes at nailing the shape. These boards are a long way off a standard high performance shorty.
Doubt you're going to get a custom for $600 but if you are then that shaper sure isn't making much of a living off your purchases.
The re-sale value on your customs would be pretty low since you've got something so weird too.
Want to try an eco bean find a used one that's already taken the hit on the new price.
