Back in the day, you use to get these styrene surfboards even the fin was moulded as part of the board. So far my searches have resulted in nothing. I was wondering if there was a brand or specific name so I can narrow it down a bit.

This ones on Facebook market place at the moment. Jumbuck grew up and knocked around the cott area, probably still does. From all accounts moulded these iconic foamies in the backyard and they were super popular around Perth in the eighties.
My boy uses one of these foamies around the Cottesloe area (Dutchies - Deane Street). We installed a leg rope using Epoxy resin and it goes okay. The beauty of these foamies for a young learner is they paddle fast (very buoyant), catch broken waves so easily, without them even needing to paddle really, and the big moulded fin means the board generally straightens up as they move and points straight to the beach. My boy is now progressing to catching unbroken waves so we need to find him a suitable and affordable kids soft board, but this foamy was a great starting point.

Pretty sure that's from the mould for the "GS" foamie made by Fairway plastics back in the 80's.
Fairway plastics factory burnt down but the mould survived and was sold on at some stage.
Many memories on those boards, anyone remember the "Foamie Classic" surf comp?
I thought this would be a fun alternative for my little ones during summer just to get feel for it.

one of the foam suppliers offer me the mould about 5 years ago for 2k so it may still be around !!
i probably sold about 1000 of these boards back in the 90s
