Check out the "what's happening in the Goddard shed" in the longboard forum. We need a blog like this on building a shorty!
Took my Katana Quad for its first outing Sunday. I'm 50, no shredder, 6' '4", 85kg. Board is 6'6' x 21 x 2.5/8". Paddles nice, feels loose & fast. Very stable under foot. Stoked with it. Could have & might still drop to a 6'4" but need few more surfs to get used to the new one.
Deano, I hope I am still going like you at 50. Good on you for still riding a shortboard.
Katana you make some nice looking boards, I may have to check em out next time I am back in WA.
What's the black stuff around the rails of the Goddard in the photo???? Is it carbon? or paint, is he trying to hide the lap line? or is it just a crappy finish?
i will start one on friday for you lads, straight from the new clearwater factory.
any particular board you want to see shaped?
