Thanks to my SP and a low expectation on surf, i was able to enjoy knee to waist high session on my own before work. Water was a delight..

That does look like a really nice shape. It was one of the boards I was looking at when I was over East. It was a bit beyond my budget at the time though. A couple of Lost boards were on the list too.

last day of two weeks at coolie, couole real nice sessions over here during the time. Cheers to all,

will put up some more when i get home, all these picks are off me phone.
first week had a few 3-4foot days, went down the coast too and scored a few days down therr as well.
apparently this time of year its normally northerly winds (like our seabreeze) but there was only two northerly days out of two weeks

You can ride those boards with way less volume than you think and still get the benefit as they have the huge fat tail. Perfect in the small stuff as they stop you bogging and with the extra float under your rear end you get great benefits right from the start of your wave

Interestingly enough i have been wondering about dropping the size. I bought it second hand and TBH it goes well, it feels lose enough, my only problem i have is setting a rail on my forehand it really does hurt my broken toes. Also its so buoyant when it gets a bit of wind chop, i can start to feel a bit sea sick

But its a pleasure to surf, when you can enjoy knee high waves with ease, especially with my kids in tow..

I haven't been here since they built the hotel (4 years ago) and had few surf's there this week and it has been surprising mellow crowd wise. Not many crew keen for the sets either.

Hmmm - well there's a little swell, but the tide, shape and wind are making it very ordinary across the North metro stretch... then there's the crowds

Yep today was very straight compared to yesterday. Although that still wasn't ideal at my local. Water was nice. The cameras at Trigg in the morning yesterday looked great, but the crowd factor was staggering..

Drove down this arvo. Had a look. Drove home. Swerved at the possum, flicked the bird at Mr Plod, spat at a Schoolie. Got home, slapped a kid, head butted the missus, kicked the dog, went to my bedroom and sobbed.

Quietly rocking.

Fun in the sun and well worth the effort. I even had some company drop by to share the stoke.
