Got a wave last night at Perth's 2nd favourite beachie.

Offshore, but no banks and super straight. Crowd factor was high, backwash was terrible.

In support of localism, I propose we the surfing community start referring to the Trigg/Scarbs stretch as Straighthanders

I watched people trying to surf that yesterday arvo, pretty funny really. There looked to be some banks further north but could have been the side on view that deceived me?

Maybe shorten to "Straights", got a ring to it...

Was hard for me as I knew where I usually surf would have been really fun, clean little swell, offshore....bugger!

Visited an old friend today and it was on. Also the ocean was alive with baitfish everywhere and pelagics smashing them up with huge splashes happening the whole time. I was even part of a baitball at one point. Good times!

A lot of fun today. A lot cleaner and a bit bigger. Gentleman's hour kick of and really only a smallish crowd.

Was nice to have the wind a bit softer for once..

Fun waves with a bit of size north of the big smoke yesterday once the winds backed off a bit. Finished the day off by cracking a few tins of bush chook on the way home (was not driving)

Fun little offshore grovel yesterday afternoon at a Northern Reefie. Small waves, but it was nice to get get a sundown surf without being blown half way to Madagascar!

Good little dawn session at fav reefy, crowd was a bit more of a circus than normal but didnt stop me from having a good time. Scored a few nice clean shoulder high peelers on backhand - so nice to have a wave with shape and length - really irons out your turns!

Put my leg down a bloody hole on the way in, more scars for the feet and shin

ahh,, I noticed as well as getting some steps back, Oldmate has some artwork as well (at no extra charge!)
to keep on thread ,, was a little bit bigger, fatter, deeper and howling offshore when I was there last week.
Only me and some italian terrorists dumb enough to try.

That's because it's barely breaking. It will immediately fade into a small patch of foam 0.1s after that picture was taken. It needs to be about three times bigger. Look at the other picture. It's mush.
