I'm Confused.
Left Coolangatta this morning to go work down at Ballina for the week.
!-2ft ankle snappers rolling in around Rainbow Bay.



Took the coast road to have a look at Lennox. Expected to see a flat ocean.




Like fark me!!!!

It's only 86km between the two spots yet the swell size is triple.
I've come across this regularly heading down them parts.
Maybe Byron hippie backpackers are stealin the swell headed up north.

Anyway, had no surfin vehicle with me so went to work spewin.

Please explain!!!

You had no surf vehicle. Of course there was going to be waves. Basic laws of surf physics.
The size of the swell and lack of crowds will be directly related to how far away your surf board is...
