Hey dudes,
Headin to nusa dua in 2 weeks staying. Im an experienced kitesurfer who focuses on wave riding Regularly surf/kitesurf along east coast of aus.
Is the wind strong enough to wave ride some of the spots along nusa dua ?
I ride a 10m kite with a surfboard needing about 14- 15 knots to keep me out of trouble.
I have surfed most of the spots but it was in the wet season, so i didnt really get a gauge on its kiteability.
I checked out windfinder and it suggests wind probability of 12-14knots 50% of the time.
Seems like taking kite gear might b a waste of time. Any info greatly appreciated
Cheers Mark

From a surf perspective, this time of year there will be **** all breeze in the morning then south easterly (trade wind) picks up around 8:30 - 9:00 am. Would be well after lunch before it reaches peak over that side. I'd say 12-14 knots would almost be max, you can set your watch by it up until Sept-Oct. Nusa Dua gets big this time of year too.
