Hi,
I've just fixed a few dings on my 6'0 Rip Curl Joystick using solarez. The fix is really neat and after the last sanding its almost impossible to feel the repair on the board with your hands. However, since the solarez is a bit off color wise and because ive sanded down the paint around the ding, the paint job gives it all away when you look at it. It seems like Rip curl has used foam, fibreglass and than a white layer of paint on top of the glass (which I've sanded off in a few spots, which reveals the semi transparent glass underneat).
Is there any easy / cheap way to repaint the area around the ding to give it back the white original color?
Cheers!
Thanks Agnak.
I read that you can use a Posca marker and put a matt clear spray on top.
Has anyone tried this to hide a ding repair?

Thanks Agnak.

All the time with epoxies!
edit: epoxy is inherently UV unstable so it ought to be painted,
I believe.
I have used automotive spray paint with good results. 3-4 coats and a gentle rub with 1200 grit wet and dry paper. About $13 and there's plenty of different shades of white on the shelf... at Supa Cheap Auto etc...
