Hey everyone, I need your advice. I'm putting together the finishing touches on my new product which is a leash. I want to make sure that I don't leave anything out, so will you let me know what your biggest challenge is with leash's?

Thanks for your advice.

Regards Jason

I hope people will be more concerned about the country of manufacturing after the covid 19 has brought to light the problems of offshore manufacturing. Of course a good product is very important, various lengths, thickness (comp/Reg/Big Wave/Xtra Big Wave), double swivels to prevent tangling, quick release...but at the end of the day, if you could produce an Australian made product, owned by Australians & made by Australians that would be great & I would pay more for that product.

Good luck with that, it might be "made" in Aust. ie put together here, but all the materials will come from China unfortunately,
unless you want to pay $180++ for a leggie
Our costs here are too high and rules protecting enviro and waste/pollution etc make it hard to produce things like that cheaply.
Which is sorta a good thing, but a bad thing at the same time.

Bluetooth leash
just put the ankle strap on without the cord that tangles between your toes but only does it on critical take offs or whilst you are being crocodile rolled by a 10 foot rogue set.

maybe magnetic leash which lets your board go a max of ten feet from you but no more, so when you are getting rolled and pop up your board is just near you bit will not hit you in the face whilst being rolled.

Leashes should all have a quick release clip for when you get it tangled around the reef
