Be aware that if you want to extend this visa whilst over there you will need to leave the country. To get around this you can just purchase a VOA as per the old days (as you can still extend these) or get your 2 month visa sorted before you leave Australia.

Funny that doc was dated 10th of March, we landed on the 11th,the staff at the airport said they had not been notified so charged all the Aussies who landed that day

Great news, a ton of other countries had their VOA $ turned off last year. Missus got in free last June & could have cruised through to the next counter. But had to wait for me...wonder if this is a sign relations have improved since Tony Abbot was booted out of the PM seat Seemed like he pissed them off a lot...

Haha. Not quite Buster, just booked a Sumatran trip over the weekend for July.

Just a little icing on the cake you could say...
