Usually around this size on a decent swell, bring your step up board just in case

Sometimes CH will handle 6-8ft but conditions have to be right...and that's rare

Its mainly a longboard/minimal/fish wave, consistent knee to waist high, sometimes chest high.Tube rides are rarer than the end of the rainbow

Sometimes the sands in the position for long peelers so the boards that draw out turns have a better chance of beating the sections, its over run with hipsters as well.A reasonable day has 70/80 in the water

Whitewater takeoff and full. Good maybe 6 days a year. Thieves, crowds and stupid old... vaginas, all over the place. Beginners wave. Cutback city. Moved into area from north coast and have gained several kilo's. The real attraction for the crowd is that there is no challenge to paddle out. Just walk (pose) the car park and jump into line up.
So disappointed. Adrenalin withdrawal well and truly now over, reminiscence has set in.
