Tough gig for the goofy footers
Ace charged real hard on his backhand that last heat, was super impressive.
Glad they moving it though, wasnt really that much on offer.
Been very entertaining so far
[edit] it is going to get bigger an head over to the main break.
not that it`s not heavy enough atm...struth!
toledo and pupo look scared...
and their boards look way too small
go Micro
Should be a good afternoons entertainment..
Their boards do look too short. More power and more rail in better spots if they had bigger boards.
They'll run out of short boards at this rate
Time to get down their with your 8' for sale

Lol. I am about to head out for a surf on it. Maybe they can have it on the last heat of the day.
Other than the initial bottom turns, these waves are not exactly exciting :(
Edit: now that Parko is out there I rescind my above statement.
To be fair, I think it's the board choice that is making this a little less exciting than it could be.Not a whole heap of rail to rail surfing going on, the boards are just chattering across the wave.
There is a hell of a lot of bump on those wave faces which is limiting their ability to lay it the rail without getting bounced.
^^^ Nah those waves are just giant burgers. Maybe the occasional steep section but few and far between
Was at Margies today-those blokes have balls...J Flores 4 x head bomb on a 6'5!!!
And the poundings they took!! Pupo charged and another Brazo was freesurfing main by himself while Box was on -he got some smokin waves (green hurley wettie and a Mayhem board)
New respect...as Micro said after he got smoked going right ...that set was 100ft face!!
IMO Owen Wright is the first goofy to look any good at the box. Killing it
Yes he was sensational today.
Freddy P surfed well there yesterday.
Agreed...
So did Ace B..
Box looked siiick today.
Owen's pit was outrageous.
North Point yesterday!

Jack Robbo killing it.
...what could have been...
How rattled did Medina look? 3 times he gave priority away by looking over the edge then pulling back!
So stoked that the conditions are so challenging, even to the very best!
