Just got a 130 wizard and wondered what is the biggest size sail people use with this board, seemed to work with a 7.0 flyer and I 76 foil wing. Old board is a 160 levitator. Thanks.
A single data point: Have a buddy with one and a 7.0 FoilGlide is about his limit with a SS 926. He could put something bigger on it but he feels like he wouldn't gain many sessions (we live in a pretty light air spot) and handling would be a PITA. He had a Flyer 8.2 on his Levitator 160/i99 prior to going to this set up. Keep in mind, the FG 7.0 is reputed to be a bit bigger/more powerful than most 7.0s, though.
I used a 6.6 a little with my wizard 114.
For the foilx 145 which has similar width to the wizard 130, a 7.0 worked well and an 8.0 didn't give me much more. It felt cramped onboard to me.
The 8.0 works well on my 95cm wide board but I don't bother with the smaller boards on the sail that big. I only really use it when I'm lazy and don't want to fuss with the 9.0hgo.
Can use the 7.0 on a freestyle 115 too but I am not going to bother going bigger.

I used my 125 Wizard with i76 foil up to old Tush twin cam 7.4 very happily. Narrow happy wind range though before getting too lifty. When the sail is that big (and smaller too) you need a fixed centre of effort. You do not want forces moving back and forward, so although a lot of original advice for learners on this forum is rig the sail with some pump in it ie less down haul, I would disagree. Fully down hauled so it's locked in so you're not fighting the drive and lift all the time.
The biggest sail I was using on the W130 was 5.0 and some pumping.
Think personally it gets a bit pitchy with sails over 7.0 because of the short rocker length and the rig weight pushing down.
It's been a minute since I have wind foiled, I had a couple of injuries (ankle and wrist) and hoping to get back into it soon as I want to test the new phantasm PTM999 foils.
I used a Sailworks Flyer 8.0 when I had my first-generation Wizard 125L, it was perfectly fine, I don't recall any issues. At the time the Slingy website had something like a 6.2 as the recommended max for that board, lol. What a great board that was.
