Any information sailing on these wings would be great.
I'm using a F2 Stoke 135L Powerbox, SS H2 (Gamma) with the PowerPlate. 68kg. Lots and crashes and a few 10 seconds flight. Backleg heavy so old habits die hard!
Thanks
I am curious about the H5 to as I have one leftover from kitefoiling, but haven't used it. Slingshot's website talks about it being suitable for high wind. I have a friend who learned on one in the Gorge, haven't talked to him about it lately plus he is a pro so his experience would likely vary from mine.
I've used the H5. It's a quite small surface area wing and requires good skill or a lot of speed to keep it foiling. The infinity 76 wing is a much better choice IMO.
What size Sails are you typically using?
My quiver non-cam 7.5, 6.5, 6.0, 5.5, 4.6, 4.2, 3.8, 3.2. Locally in Vancouver Harbor its 7.5-6.0 fin sailing. A few days it cranked 40+ knots and wasn't FUN to go out on a 3.2m. I would use the H5 like I would use the North Zeta 3.2m, 6 times in 20 years. I have used a 5.5, 6.0m the few times I've foiled, Fuselage in C position.
H5.
This shop has a few of them at $49USD. I don't know the shipping cost to my country.

H4.
Before the colour change it was know as the Bat wing (blue/black). Once they named their wings its now called Space Skate (orang/black).https://houstonkiteboarding.com/collections/used-foil-gear/products/used-slingshot-h4-hydrofoil-with-fuselage-and-rear-wing-with-shim?variant=31185925570629

I did find a H4 review. After this review I think I'll save my $ and go for a big wing in spring. Extremely rare to have the conditions to use this wing.

FYI: The Hood River/Gorge/ Columbia Gorge is on a river. River current is East to West. Normal wing blows from the West.
Sailing East winds results in current and wind in same direction, it would be like downwind sailing with small waves. For fin sailing you would rig 1 to 2 size bigger depending launch site and current.
^^^The infinity wings are awesome there is tons of info on here about them. I personally love the 76. It has the most range especially for an average sized guy, decent top speed and sweet low stall speed. But if your on the heavy side or get a lot of light wind then the even bigger wings like the 84 or 99 might be the ticket.
Does anyone know if the older(blue) or green replacement wings use a different bolt length then the new black carbon composite ones? I realize there is two different mast caps. I noticed on the Houstonkiteboarding site
they sell longer m8x25mm bolts; shttps://houstonkiteboarding.com/products/replacement-stainless-steel-hoverglide-wing-mast-cap-
for the caps
2mm longer then the stock ones that come with a slingshot foil(m8x23mm). But they have the black aluminum cap pictured selling longer bolts
Good question Slingshot has a text help desk. Plastic mast caps ($4) Alum ($21).

Best bet is the aluminum cap then drill and tap the holes all the way through and use bolts which just barely protrude.
Then you know its clamped down rather than just bottoming the bolts.
Also gets you another few threads engaged.
I will have to try that Grant thanks for the idea. I was given two new caps from warranty thanks to slingshot. Does it really make a difference from before you drilled the cap; does it stay tight after a session? Is ther any "singing"(noise) from this?
I think that is the idea behind the longer 25mm bolts they were selling, but I would think bottoming out in the cap would become an issue if the caps aren't drilled. Are the bolts your used longer then 25mm.
Did you have to cut them.
Cheers
I'm using the cap from my old H2 wing with the Infinity 84cm, I can't remember if I'm running longer bolts, but this cap is tapped all the way through and feels way more secure at the expense a bit of drag that's not noticeable. There is no whistling or anything like that.

I have a Slingshot Fwind1 full foil kit (blue Gamma wing) and HG i84 wing. At the time, this was same price as HG i84 full foil kit, so got two wings for price of one. The wing bolts for the blue Gamma wing are the same as the i84. The bolts and cap for each were included with the wing.
BTW, tried the Gamma wing recently, in a rare 10-18knot day. It's certainly faster than the i84, the humming whistle from the Foil mast is much louder and more often. However much less time on foil than i84.
Please, could you confirm if the blue H2 is the very same iwng now called Time Code 57? Also, the blue H5 is the current Gamma 68 cm?
Found a used pack with those wings + stab 42 cm + long switch fuse + 3 different sizes SS alu masts. I'm wandering what are the differences between H5/Gamma 68cm and Infinity 76cm (apart the surface) ? Just in case, which Infinity size to add to cover lighter wind (i 76/84/99 ?)
thx

Pretty certain the timecode 57 and the blue H2 wing are different. I thought the blue H2 was the equivalent of the gamma 68, not sure what the blue h5 is though. There is a link and screen shots below that discuss this. Regarding the infinity 76 and the old blue hoverglide wing, the infinity 76 is a massive upgrade. I think there was a trend in freeride wings to go bigger and bigger hence the popularity of the 99. I do think there are downsides to going too big and would generally recommend the infinity 76, as it is the more versatile wing.
Most dudes that are under 80kgs should have this wing (76) as their main wing, and if they really wanted to push the lightwind envelope they could add the i99, but this often requires a board with tracks (unless you are heavy or don't mind riding with a super heavy backfoot). Or if they want to push the highwind foiling they get the infinity 65. The 84 is the big guys version of the 76, it has a bit more lift to move more meat, but slightly slower top speed.
The 99 is a unique wing that allows people to get going pretty early but I find it harder to gybe, and I suspect it is a harder wing to learn to gybe on. I don't think people should intend to use the 99 as their everyday anywind windfoiling wing. But that is the beauty of hoverglide, keep trying wings until you find the wing that suits your style of riding the best. My current favorite is the apollo 60.

Hello,
I learn windfoil with the H5 or time code 57 the wing is working nicely, I was mainly in C position was able to start foiling with 15kts of wind and 6,6 S-type and falcon 148 at that time.
I will put it in between the I65 and the warp speed in term of power but clother of the I65.
clearly less speed oriented due to a thicker profile, got a lot of tolerance , will be more for carving riding.
Unless you're foiling in 5-10 knot breezes, a kitewing 600 sq cm is plenty for stable foiling with -6 meter sails.
And you weigh less than 80kg, of course.
