It seems only a few Axis foils are used among the users of this windfoil forum,
although the brand is very populair in the SUPfoiling and Winging section.
The construction of the Axis is very solid and they offer Foil setups for Windfoiling too.
Are Axis experienced windfoilers out there?
I "test drove" Axis windfoil for a mate, to give him feedback as he starts his learning curve - I'm used to various Starboard foils - his front wing is around 1800 - very impressed with it, very predictable ride, aluminium mast 80+ very stiff under my 95kg - seems great value for $$
Was also super curious about this. They seem reasonable priced and construction seems good. But last I checked even tho they showed a few setups on their website, I couldn't find a single photo of someone windfoiling.
That said, I'm pretty sure they would work fine, just go for a longer fuselage if you can, as you want a bit more pitch stability windfoiling compared to prone/wingding etc.

I only use small sails 4.2m to 5.3m. One of the best aluminium setups out there in my opinion. Never had a bolt seize or stripped head. Super strong and stiff, I use 75cm and 90cm mast with the plate mount. Only thing axis lack is the smaller wings(<900cm2) for 20knots+ free riding on the windfoil like the infinity 65 from SS.

What's the low end with the 900/1000?
I want a two wing quiver, consider the new HA 1010 or 1150 as light wind frontwing, but not sure about the speed.
The low end on the 1000 is great, I'd say 8-10knots easy. That's me at 85kg and 5.3m.
the 900 has a bit more speed but needs to be ridden fast or powered up to avoid stalling in manoeuvres.
ive got a 1010 but never windfoiled with it, only SUP and wingding. It has heaps of lift and I think it would be a bit excessive for windfoiling unless you have really light consistent winds. speed wise the 1000 tops out around 42km/h and the 1010 is less at around 33km/h. The 910 might be worth a look or the new surf 860 also.

Construction and design looks really smart. Fairly high aspect wings and good amount of choices
Would like to see Axis step up there windfoil advertising hype as it's hard to find video's of peolpe windfoiling. Would definitely consider axis for my next foil purchase.
I use an Axis windfoil with 1000 front wing, 500 anhedral rear wing and long fuselage. I use it with a 2020 Starboard Foil Freeride 150 board and 7.0m Severne Foil Glide sail. I'm 85kg. Mostly all I have to do to fly is wait for a a gust (if the wind is light) and lean back a bit. I get a bit lazy regarding pumping, but if it takes too long for a suitable gust, I'll do a few pumps and I'm going. I measured some wind and speed recently, and found that a 12ish knot gust would get me up (without pumping), and 8-10 knots kept me going at about (up to)15 knots over the water. I'll use the same gear in stronger winds and it flies easy and fast. I found that in very strong winds, sometimes when I run out of space and want to stop, I have to push it back down to the water, or weave. Keeps going even if I let all the wind out of the sail. I do a lot of sailing at Lake Pupuke. MadLoop school there has a few Axis foils, and they seem to be the favourite for beginners through to advanced. People get their first flights on these, often on the first try. Then they'll buy the same foil when they get their own gear. The comments I hear is that they're easy to learn on, but you don't grow out of them. The Starboard race foils are also popular there, and are faster once up on the foil, but need a lot more pumping and/or a big sail to get up( in lighter winds). The Axis foils aren't slow however, especially with the 900 front wing. I've seen someone with an Axis 900 wing holding their own against a Starboard race foil. At the last NZ Windfoil championships it looked like the majority of the fleet for the Freeride division had Axis foils with 1000 wings.
Have a look at the Madloop Facebook page. There's videos of people there using Axis. One of the more recent videos had a Wing Foiler in the foreground, and there's a guy behind that screaming across the lake on an Axis 900 wing. Also, the Axis foils are beautifully engineered and manufactured. The Tuttle fittings also have plates, and use 8mm bolts rather than the 6mm ones that so many people seem to have problems with.
I have started wind-foiling on my axis set up. Coming off a SS Infinity76 i was skeptical that it would ride as good at the SS. I have used the 1000HA wing and now the 750 wing with the 440 and 370 stabs ( prefer the 370 stab). Once i had sorted out the settings its been great, and i reckon the 750 is just as good to ride as the Infinity76 and it will now be my go to wing for wind-foiling. The main difference is the COE on the SS must be a lot further forward that the axis as i has to have the foil mast in the tracks all the way forward and move the two front straps all the way back and have the mast base the way back in the mast track. the is the totally opposite to the SS setting on the same board
That thing looks sleek just sitting there. Any chance you could weigh it and give the mast length and fuselage length?

The fuse length LE of front wing to LE of the stab is 760mm. Mast is 900mm long 19mm thick and very stiff (stiffest ive used) weight is as per the pic

did you use the Slingshot Surf-Foil or the Wind-Foil? As you do not use the longer Windfoil fuselage for your Axis foil, it is normal to move the mast further forward to get it flying. If it is still to back-footed, just get the proper windfall fuselage.

Its definitely on the heavy side (tho probably not any heavier then the Slingshot), but looks super solid and beautifully made. How do you find the pitch stability? It looks a little shorter than the dedicated windfoil setups, which is probably good as I think some of the dedicated setups are maybe a little too stable (boring!).
The windfoil fuselage looks like it places the front wing further forward which would probably mean better compatibility with wind-foil boards, and a more similar setup location compared to the slingshot. A bit of second hand gear floating around out there from the surf/sup/wing guys so might have to snag one to try. Only thing I'd like to see is a smaller front wing, could be a pretty fun windy day jumping/carving setup.

The fuselage you have looks like it places the mast quite close to the front wing, similar to the Naish setup, which I think is a little bit of an outlier for a windfoil, but probably fairly standard for the surf/wing foil gear.
The Axis ride is very stable my fuse is the standard fuse not the newer shot models. I find the fore aft stability fine, now i have my kit balanced with most of my weight over my front foot it sails great in waves for turns or carving on flat water. As i have said it rides (the 750) wing very much like the Infinty76 wing.
I'm now using the 900mm high aspect wing and loving it. Getting on the foil in as light winds as I did with the 1000. The 900 is much faster and more manoeuvrable. It gets great upwind angles and speeds, and easy to ride downwind. Will probably never use the 1000 again. It was good to begin with, but the 900 seems to be a natural progression as my skill level increased.
