Hello people, i'm New posting on this forum but i have been following you for a long time in order to learn more about this awesome sport. My name is Tales ,. I'm from Brazil and i Will post the stuff i bought to build the hydrofoil and the foilboard as well as the process of assembling them.
Ok, let's get cracking...

top viem of the fuselage. I Will insert two 8mm inox bars of 75cm through the gaps between the screw holes for stiffness.

Here, we have a 75cm aluminum mast (U$50,00), a 2.8x2.8mm 75cm aluminum fuselage(U$12,00) and a 12x16x1.8cm aluminum mast plate(U$6,00). My Idea is to weld everything togerher with TIG weld.

drilling holes for the wing( m8 ) making the mast joint

fitting perfect and tight on the wing

mast plate with the mast joint and screw holes

Found this eps factory 7km from my house
i bought this 6'0 x 25" x 6" (U$20,00). Very Dense . I intend to shape a 5'0 prone foilboard out of It.
I Will keep posting as i Go through the welding and shaping of the board.

Very impressive so far!
I look forward to following your build. It would be interesting if you could keep track of the overall cost and the hours of your time.

It's been 2 weeks so far. I bought some parts online, had to wait the delivery. As for the costs, Brazilian currency worths ** nowadays compared to US dollar. that's why the price os the material seems cheap. I think It Will take a while now to shape and Glass the foilboard. I Hope It ALL be done mid june or the end of june.

This is me and a 7'4" supfoil that we built last year. And the hydrofoil has the same material that i bought now to build the New one. The wing is a 92 x 24 thick profile.

I made 4 holes for the back wing so that i can have more flying choices. And i also machinated the edges of the top rear part of the fuselage.

Awesome stuff! I've always wanted to foil but never tried. I like your DIY approach, but I'm terrible at building stuff. I'll just have to purchase a foil to try this out.
