My last video where I'm testing a new place to use my foil...Der Lake in France.
Very windy (15-20 knts) and nice condition (flat) to continue to adjust my new board

Hi Gwen, What camera mount do you have? The one that attaches to the waist harness.

Hi Gwen, I have also seen some foilers making some great vids with the GoPros sitting at the end of the boom. Is that also something that you will need to build yourself or do some sell such accessories for windsurfing/foiling?

The best mount for the clew is this one:

the only harness mount on the market is this one:

The harness mounted 360 cameras look sweet but nothing beats drone footage.

Thank you sl55, that clew mount kit looks really good and I like the angle/viewpoint they show you get when filming from there!
Will try and find if vendor sells/ships to my location!

I built a really simple clew mount out pvc pipe. Hose clamp it to the boom, and use a RAM mount on the end for the camera. Camera is about 2 feet aft of the boom end, angled down for good footage. You see the horizon, the sailor, and the foil under the stern. Easy peasy. Not as good as a drone, but a heckuva lot cheaper.

Here is an old video I made that shows how it looks:
