Hi Gwen, I have also seen some foilers making some great vids with the GoPros sitting at the end of the boom. Is that also something that you will need to build yourself or do some sell such accessories for windsurfing/foiling?

Thank you sl55, that clew mount kit looks really good and I like the angle/viewpoint they show you get when filming from there!

I built a really simple clew mount out pvc pipe. Hose clamp it to the boom, and use a RAM mount on the end for the camera. Camera is about 2 feet aft of the boom end, angled down for good footage. You see the horizon, the sailor, and the foil under the stern. Easy peasy. Not as good as a drone, but a heckuva lot cheaper.
