Getting forward overpowered. IQFoil Exhibition races

Source 2:03 Watch the whole thing for IQFoil and wing foil racing. Lots of "step" jibes.

I took the shim out off the stab the other day, and all in all it felt pretty good.

pretty sure thats how i looked down wind though, certainly felt like it. It makes me wonder how much lift is too much. Putting aside the downwind ride it felt 10 times better.

Whats everyone elses thoughts on lift? And how much?

You can't have too much lift
Lots of ways to control it

Thanks for the video. Since I have a setup close to what these sailors are on, I think I do exactly the same thing in an overpowered moment (rear foot forward, bent knees). There's a lot of 'foiling' control that is similar I can relate with... at least I'm not the only schmuck doing it weird. Thanks for the post. It was nice to see how different the positions are on the boards.
