New Maui Ultra Foil is a copy of Recharge Foil ???

I drove the Recharge foil at Lake Silvaplana last August. Respectively I drove the original of the Maui Ultra Foils. When I was at the Windsurfing Silvaplana surf station, 4 recharge foils were ready for testing during a test event. The foil drove very well and is certainly competitive with a Starboard GTR Foil and costs only 1599 ?. The Recharge / Maui Ultra Foil drove very well and was easy to sail with sails up to 8.6 because of the not too big wing (840 cm2). The foot length of 100cm is a very comfortable compromise for a freeride / free race foil. www.recharge.si/foil/foil-info I watched the foil for a long time and was really impressed by the workmanship. The workmanship was really good. The connection of the fuse / mast and wing was very precise. When I saw the publication of the MUF Foil the last few days I was amazed. In my opinion, the Maui Ultra Foil is a 1: 1 copy of the recharge foil. The technical data such as screw connection of the wing, fuse length, number of screws, mast length, weight, shape of the fuse etc. are completely identical. Even the carbon used is the same. The foil is really great mauiultrafins.com/foils/ The recharge foil list costs ? 1599 The MU Foil ? 1799 The Recharge Foil was developed by Tine Salbe. Maybe someone knows what about whether Recharge and Maui Ultra have a cooperation. I wrote to Tine once. I'm curious about his answer ...

Possible, same as SS and GA were both using the original Moses Vento rebranded.

Hi guys,

in the german forum Tine Salbe wrote about the collaboration between Recharge and Maui Ultra Fins. They share knowledge, produce at the same European facility, but the foils have a few differences.
