Hi there,
Im from switzerland and new in foiling. I have a sb race foil and am looking for a suitable board.
Is the jp hydro 155 good for this? Have also an isonic 137 and sb hypersonic without foil box. Do not want to damage these.
In november i learned foiling in hurghada with an np alu and jp 135. Worked nice for me.
Regards Patrick
The JP155 is a very good match. My racingbudy rides that exact combo and he's always first or second in the dutch nationals. For 2019 he's switching to the new 150 though, he says that one's even better.
Great to read this, thank you very much WhiteofHeart. So i try to get the jp 155 and a fuselage 95 for the race foil. Do not need too much power for the beginning.
We have a few in Colorado with this combo. They like it and do well with it (we're all beginners here).

I would try with the long fuselage first! The 155 has the footstraps quite far forward, so handling the power should be fine, you can always get the 95 later ;).
that's Amado NB20 (severne rider) , not Sebastian (pryde rider)
And here's the original - not ripped off version
Let's give credit to Guy Cribb who keeps losing drones to the sea in an effort to give us great videos!
So i got my first foil board. Pretty nice in the living room. My wife tells me to ask when the bag arrives to get it to the garage
So happy "project spaceship" does not work and my board not gets outdated before it got whet for the first time!
I hope JP don't charge by the footstrap hole. :)
That looks like a lot of fun to have a new toy in the house. I hope you enjoy it.
Congrats on the new board! I just got my new setup as well. I think the bigger board will help in lighter winds.
The Project Spaceship video was interesting, not sure what that setup was supposed to accomplish, but that's the glory of R&D.
