I am pretty fired up about this. I noticed in the vid that there are two flaps one on port and starboard and they can move independent of each other! This means it has the potential to control more than just ride height but also roll!
A less technical version would be fix the flap(s) MANUALLY at a certain angle depending on the speed you plan to fly.
This would be similar to the idea of setting the angle of attack by shimming the stabilizer.
If you want speed set it to 0 degrees, waves a larger angle, beginner or light wind larger angle still.
