Just found this info on the new Slingshot SlingWing
Looks like Slingshot were the first developers of the single-strut inflatable wing and have been refining it since 2011 - waiting for big lift foil wings like the Infinity 84 and 76
Construction quality looks first rate in the pix and I like the window.
I've got my order in with Jesper - arriving late June, can't wait. Kook times ahead
Who else is up for a bit of fun?
+1
looking forward to the test flights in July winter storms!!
SS Wings look epic. Some more pics from logosz IG.
Looks like a copy of the Naish Wing surfer.?????
The naish looks a lot different ..
the slingshot has an inflated trailing edge the naish doesn't
Not sure what this equates to but looking forward to giving them ago

Tony Logosz, Slingshot co-founder & designer made the first prototypes 2011.
The Slingwing was a few years ahead of its time back then.
In Logosz's words, "We knew the Slingwing was a cool idea in 2011, but it wasn't until the evolution of foiling- and more specifically the development of big performance foil wings with tons of lift and speed- that we saw a practical application for the creation."Tony brought Slingwing out of the closet in 2015 to test it with one of the new, larger foils he was developing. He was up and foiling instantly and was able to cut upwind, cruise downwind and ride swell for the first time without the aid a windsurfing sail or kite.
The concept was inspired by a horizontal sail called the Wind Weapon, introduced by a windsurfer decades ago in the Columbia River Gorge, and more recently by a rigid frame-supported device called the Kitewing- both of which were inspired by hang gliding wings.

The question is more of " who copied whom "
the Wings concepts look quite different, esp. reg. The trailing edge design.
