I like it. I'm on the same gear so was interested at looking at your mast and strap positions. I'm thinking of moving my rear straps back a couple of holes so I can fly with my foot in front of the straps. I'm getting more comfortable but still have a way to go. You're heaps better at tacking than me!
Does the pool noodle work at protecting your board? ThatsT actually not a bad idea...
(Asking for a mate who does some catapults when it's windy)
Looking good! So cool more people are picking up this aspect of the sport ;). I never believed in the poodle noodle, a friend of mine said the material was too soft and doesn't slow the impact at all, but maybe that's a brand thing (some might be harder than others?) i think I'm gonna try aswell when my new boards get in ;). I almost never crash, only when I'm really tired at the end of the day and a little distracted hahaha, but when I do 10/10 my nose is cracked..
I really want to try the naish combo once! I surfed with 8 different foils up until now, but never the Naish, the brand isn't that big in the Netherlands.
I have the same setup but i have the footstraps all the way back and the foil is as far back as possible
Naish setup also, footstraps full forward, foil 2" back from reco, mast base centered, 160lbs. flies super easy.
