NW 20 knots - not quite enough wind for chunky windswells but still superfun carving downwind - and trying not to run into each other
Apologies for the jerky vid - no image stabilization with the Hero4.

pretty certain I am coming to visit
Awesome swell riding JJ and in the straps!Have you ever foil swell riden completely strapless?
Cheers Dean - yes, tried carving with my feet out the straps many times.
Downwinding, I like being able to pull up on the rear strap with the top of my foot while pushing down with my heel when carving back crosswind - and lever against the strap to push down with my toes when carving downwind.
thedoor - you're welcome anytime - November to March is best for coastal downwinders
I always turn off image stabilization on my GoPro5 because it uses up some of the field of view (FOV). I consider FOV more important. 720p and 30 fps is plenty for our sport.
The other huge thing the GoPro5 and up offer is GPS gauges right on screen. Of course, you could get GPS data with a GPS watch and synch the GPS data to the video with Race Render or Dashware.
Very nice reverse-foot jibes. I have to practice those.

Thanks, good to know about the penalty with image stabilization.
Happy with the FOV I've got with the Hero4 in Wide on the boom-end extension.
I'm trying to capture the crazy fun of downwind carving which I reckon is the epic, unique feature of windfoiling
Any tips to reduce jerkiness?
A head mount would utilize a clever evolutionary stabilizer but the FOV misses the foil action
