Awesome. Love the paint scheme on the first Fanatic
Great pics also
But geez I wonder if the sail manufacturers are losing touch of the real world sailors, 3 battens
Might be great in constant conditions but if you don't have 6 sails and/or it is gusty n overpowered......
I feel a big difference between my 4 batten and 5 batten Combats (of the same year). The 4 batten is great in constant DTL but sh!t in winter fronts.
Who ever takes those JP photos needs to calibrate their monitor. The colours are way way off. Just have a look at the last two photos. Obviously taken on the same day. The colours in the first shot make you want to vomit. In the second shot they are a lot more tolerable.
I would disagree sludger, I think they look equally bad in both shots.
+1
terrible
I love the colours! Nice to get some colour back into windsurfing..The difference may be from photo editing..
Agreed, last year's Gaastra's looked awesome (and sailed great too I'm told)
Regardless of the GA name change the other more important aspects of their comeback seems to be working

Well let's put it this way, pastel colours have never been my favourite but as with all things design it comes down to individual taste. That said I think Neil Pryde has bigger issues than the choice of colours. They really need to reduce the weight of their sails. When you compare them to brands like Avanti or Severne it's like driving a 6 ton Ford truck vs a 1500 kg carbon fibre McLaren P1 (that I have drive the later).
Wow, Severne is making a 5 batten wave sail, what will they think of next?
Am I seeing a broken mast tip, in the background of that Severne pic w/ the Goya sail?
Not sure what to make of this... Tail of board looks like a 3 prong swallow, sail head is old school, maybe a proto.
OK, well seeing as you have put it out there here is an action shot. PV testing at Strand Horst. More work to do, new protos on their way.

Looks really good more like a full race sail by the look of the shape. Even a bit like a HSM GPS.
