Freewave stb has my interest !
always been a JP Freestylewave man but the stubby perked my interest last year and the new freewave stb might be right up my alley with our local conditions.

I reckon Sebastian Wenzel is one of the best shapers around, he also makes custom boards in addition to his role at Fanatic.

Isn´t he the one who came up with the stubby concept and then JP followed with the slate?

I have a Sunova Speed paddle board whose shape is very similar to free wave stb. It is a great board with good reviews in the forums etc. Seems to pick up small waves really well and fantastic on the bigger ones as well. I think the free wave stb will be a winner although with my wave sailing ability I'm a bit worried about destroying the nose.

Also check Boardseeker as they already have a test on the 2017 boards:
boardseekermag.com/features/2017-fanatic-waveboard-showdown/

Good to see Boardseeker rating the Stubby so high, best option as a one board quiver. It's clear the concept works with Fanatic now offering a FSW model and a ........ model !
