Ian,
You obviously don't understand the message we are trying to pass on.
Firstly we are not "forcing the right of way". Where on earth did you get that assumption from.
I simply want to enjoy the sport in a safe manner which is giving respect and consideration of other water users. It would be good if everyone concerned did the same.
The rules are in place to stop collisions occurring and it was not me who caused these situations.
The problem is when kiters just prop and lollipop in front of you without even looking causing evasive action to be taken.
Note... this happened straight after I left the beach (yellow kite) following rudely being approached on the beach by you. Go figure.. .Luckily it was only 12knots or so. At least the guy said sorry at the time. Problem is when it is 30knots and the distance given closes very very quickly.
I suggest you don't ever approach me again as you cannot contribute to my knowledge base. You are a very difficult person to try to talk to and I have better things to do with my time.
The solution for the area we are talking about is to have kiters go back on Port below the Starboard windsurfers/ kiters etc in a loop type fashion and there should be little or no issues. Kiters (especially) and windsurfers should LOOK before they change direction to make sure it is clear before doing their thingy, gybe whatever.
Try a bit of common sense and consideration of others on the water. That way we can all enjoy the sport.
P.s. I think you should read the handbook in context properly and what is appropriate.
We've been through all this a dozen times over.
It looks like you're just out to start another argument, just for the sake of generating some genuine hatred between kiters and windsurfers.
If you've got a genuine problem to sort out, message fez directly, or at least post it in the NSW forum where people are more likely to know the spot.
Better yet, take a chill pill and relax, getting bent out of shape and yelling about it doesn't help anyone or anything, especially when it sounds like you weren't involved, you just decided to get involved for no reason?
All you'll get posting this carry on in the windsurfing general forum is mischief and bad times.
