I am starting to get interested if it looks like there is significant wind forecast (20 knots or more). Of course I will need 2 or 3 days to get there......
Will miss you for sure kato!
It is hard to pick the wind sailquik. Forecast looks ok at this point in time. As every year shows us tho, anything is possible. I guess the good news story is that there is always enough to have some fun.
SSE winds this Saturday.
that is a very good direction for the main run.
Yes, I saw the forecast for the next few days! Looks nice. Might be over by the Wind fest though.....
Like I said before sailquick, I'll lend you a big sail if the wind is light. Surely you can get that tandem going in light conditions. Could be very competitive!
Hi Daffy tides are a great from Tuesday till about Monday.
Forecast well flip a coin too far out at this stage.
forecast is in the too hard basket. it's changing daily. best to just come along, have a holiday and adopt the wait and see what the day brings philosophy.

Sign on at Speed HQ overlooking the strip at 8.30am Tuesday morning.
Briefing is at 10.00am
Low tide 12.45pm
Barge is on standby
Strip should be exposed by around 9.30am and should be sailable right through till 4pm. with a half chance forecast on day 1 we intend to hit the ground running to make the most of conditions.
Day 1.
A good crew of people here on day 1. Some new and a lot of familiar faces. Around 30 competitors. We held briefing and sign on and looked to get things rolling but the wind was teasing us. We waited till 1.30 and decided to call it for today.
A bunch of guys then headed out on longboards to get their feet wet. A blokart even made an appearance.
Tonight we are off to the pub to celebrate. Everyone is I great spirits so the week is looking great.
Forecasts continue to change and are on the improve. Next few days slated to bring in 20knots.
Seems to be healthy longboard numbers this year with lots of people signing up for that and speed sailing.
Lifes hard sitting here on a bar stool watching boats head out into the blue.
Looks like I might get there for Thursday arvo depending on work. Have to leave Saturday pm so hopefully get some sailing in. Now to decide what gear to bring. Any suggestions.
Btw can I register online tomorrow and pay when I get down?
