Cervantes Speed is on again, sponsored by Windsurfing Perth and Neil Pryde and held on the weekend of 26/27th November 2011 , not only will the speedsailing and mini-marathon be on again but we will be bringing a helicopter up to Cervantes to film the entire event. We will be doing the helicopter photoshoots again so if you want your photo taken from a helicopter make sure you get to Cervantes for this weekend. This year we will also be able shoot video from the helicopter so if you want a video of yourself shot from a helicopter this is the year to head up, participation in the event is free once again.

Pricing for the photoshoot is as follows:

Helicopter photoshoot stills : $150.00

Helicopter photoshoot video : $150.00

If you want to book in advance send an email to info@helifotosdotcomdotau with your details or just pay on the day at the beach.

Will you also maybe do something else along the way as previous?

For sure, just going to wait and see what the forecast is looking like and plan from there.

some action from Cervantes last year, although not the event this is what you might expect. Was a hell of a good time.

The forecast for this weekend is looking extremely good so we are definitely heading up with the helicopter for both Saturday and Sunday, there will be a briefing around noon to register and discuss how the photoshoot will work - if you are looking at having your photo taken from the heli you can pay by cash or cheque on the day either at the briefing or some other time during the day.
We also plan on heading over to a spot to do some wavesailing photos with those that are interested (Wedge) , this will be done either on Saturday or after the marathon on Sunday on the way home.
We have waterhousings for the camera's now so when we aren't shooting from the heli we will be in the water as well.
Also on the agenda is a SUP event at 9am Sunday from Thirsty Point out to the Island and back, this will be filmed from the heli as well.

See you there!

We had a talk with the pilot today to discuss fuel usage [we have to bring our own fuel truck] and we worked out there will be enough fuel for 35 people and as we have already had quite a few people put the names down already it's probably a good idea that if you are considering turning up on the day for a photoshoot it might be best to put your name down now, you don't have to pay now and there's no obligation to take part on the day but this way we can make arrangements for more fuel if needed. Just PM me here at seabreeze.
