This weekend sees the return of Slalom racing to Cervantes for the first time in many years and the running of the WA Freestyle State Titles as part of the Cervantes Windsurf Challenge.

Time to dust off the small race sails, it is going to be pumping.

FREE ENTRY - if you can tow the WWA trailer to (and back from) Cervantes this weekend.

Don't forget for the Slalom racing that a PFD type 2 or 3 is required (same as LOC requirements)

You're s%#ting me !!!!! Just booked accommodation . Anyone got a spare , I've only got impact vests with 50kg float. Looks like I'm watching

BCFing has them for about $50 usually.

Thanks Bender, I'll hit up bcf on the way through. But if I strike out I'll grab it . I'm interested to see how the wave and freestylers go wearing buoyancy vests

They won't be. The freestyles been cancelled and there's no wave event

Looks like I'm out anyway, entry's have closed but I didn't see any closure time. Arr well I ll be there anyway for a sail and catch up

Registration is still open until the morning there shouldnt be any cutoff in registration.

We will sort it out at the point etc if need be.

As for flares, if you have them, please wear them. Lifejacket will be minimum requirement. Practice for LOC

Should be open again we had a little IT issue.

Kato we will register you on the beach as there is no way to hack the web site to recognise an interstate membership. Job for the off season.

In theory yes if the course is more than 400m offshore. We did not have time to get an exemption in place with the DOT. It is not an easy process.

Is there a program in terms of what is happening Saturday and Sunday; what time etc?

All registered, call it a donation the wwa. I'm now over insured with YV, WV and WWA.
