Has anyone modified a us box to also accept slot box or built something from scratch? am thinking about trying to mod a futures strongbox as they are only 90grams.
or know where to buy starboxes.

Doh. Realised I can modify the fins pretty easily.

yes, i drilled the grub screws into either small US boxes or small Fins unlimited boxes, cant remember which, for a twinzer-quad conversion. seemed to work well, but sold the board soon after.

Thx good to know. Was thinking about it today and it occurred to me that I can convert all of my slot box fins to us box by adding a starbox groove front and back. Just need to try it. If can't get enough force to hold the fin in place then I'll mod the box with a grub screw.

Jonty,
been putting some thought into how to use multiple fin base types in us boxes so i can transition my wave boards to us box only and still use the fins i have.

feel like i've landed on a simple solution. could also use the futures fixing idea for the slotbox and starbox (shown dashed). kinda like this idea as it spreads the load better.
