Could the largest Delta XT (26 I think?) work on a Formula board (SB 2003 free-formula to be precise) for light wind Budgy/Primbee weedflat cruising?

8.0 and 9.5 m sails if it helps in consideration...

Matt loves the grip he gets using the Delta XT 26 on a 8.6m and Patrick FreeRace 140. at 80cm is probably not as wide as a free formula but I think you would get away with it on a free formula.

great fins ,i have the XT 22' ,I managed to get going with my 8,5 .on a 130 titan ,,i didn't get it for this set up ,but tried it anyway ..it was a little small.being only the 22,but didn't really let go till the gybe ,i reckon the 26 would be good.If i was getting it for the 8,5 ,yeah.. go the bigger one .

I did notice a good SPEED increase compared to my normal 33' maui weed fin ,on a 7,0 and 115 rocket litre board.

Tried it yesterday and it worked a treat. 7.5m sail, with winds strengths well beyond where I would have normally been reaching for both a smaller board and a smaller sail. Great grip, pointing ability. However, can't really gybe in earnest because the fin is almost completely lifted out of the water when you crank over onto a rail. A small price to pay though. Broke 30 knots 2 sec on the formula board which but a grin on my face!

have used a Unifiber Lessacher 42 cm weed fin on a JP SLW92 with success - sails 8.4/8.5 meters
NEVER would have thought a DELTA 26 could do the job !!!
...
on the website did not find a Delta 26 and the carbons go up to 30 - for sails up to 9.5 !!
the windsurf shop in australia does have the 26 - NO shops in N. AMerica :-(

Joe,
the Delta XTs haven't been officially released, Australian windsurfers are the guinea who test them. In Germany, where MUF is based, they haven't been mentioned on their homepage yet. I've so far only heard of them in this forum.
I'm waiting for mine (18,20 and 24 for Powerbox) after I called them and asked for some.
Can't wait to see how the 24 will work on my F2 Tandem, which we usually can't ride in shallow waters.
Apparently Tuttle Box fins are out of stock, but they still have a few for the Powerbox. They're very friendly and I'm sure international shipping can be arranged.

This is how you can contact them
