Not often you have to ask for a break from the relentless WIND and SWELL

AND if it has not been windy for a SHORT half day, the winds been offshore and the swells been pumping ie ideal for a surf SUP.

AM i over exaggerating

I know there is people out there that keep a record of the days they sailed / could of sailed .

I can not remember a season like it .................and its just keeps going

I did have a chat to some Euro tourists who were up to 30 days (90% full days 11am till dark plus some) in arrow but that would have been 3 weeks ago, or a week before xmas

Funny enough i can only count a few days where its been crystal clean clear water with the sandy patches beaming at you and 25 knots which is often the case in the middle of summer ..........

i guess an indication of the amount of Swell has been the massive amounts of beach erosion here in Geraldton .............for those whom have travelled around would have seen at ST Georges ...........the lawn area has disappeared by at least total of 5 meters with a drop off of 3 to 5 foot on each ridging high , ................ Look out winter storms

anyway another summer 20 to 30 knots and 3m Swell

Should not be complaining ..............oh the body is

Even here in Qld. I sailed so much in December-January I was tired of it and didn't mind going back to work this week.

Most of the crew here work hard, real spread of professions, anyway harder than you bastards on the east coast .

Well lets say we pay more tax for you to get more and us less ,but hey when its windy like windy windy windy all day into the night its not hard to get down the beach WITH OUT a rush or worrie of missing anything

Lifes a real beach ............

Your right wes should use our daylight hours doing other things got any other suggestions dont say kiting

Golden rule
All ways park the car into the wind when dropping people off

I can. ^^^

This has been the best season since 2000, the turn of the millennium.

P.S.
You can't buy happiness,
but you can buy a kite,
which is kinda the same.

Often check the Gero arrows, relentless 20-25+ all summer it seems, your confirmation of such is just one big tease...been a good summer in Qld but absolutely no comparison to Gero 4-5m sails all summer, lucky bugger. To think I came close to living in Gero permantly, when I lived in WA, Ahhh the choices we make in life...I even had to take up kitting here to take care of the light ****ty on shore winds we so often get here,
I can't see the point in kiting in WA when you get such good windsurfing wind....I mean kiting is what you do if the wind is crap..as someome who does both can confirm it's a watered down easier version of windsurfing....just as cable ski parks are a watered down easier version of kiting!

I MISSED A FEW HOURS BUT I THINK YOU UNDERSTAND

Gold when the real wind hits and there is not a kite to be seen / must be missing something

Then when its under 10 to 15 knots real cross offshore and a pumping swell still not a kite to be seen ..... the millennium 2000 came and went

Slave good to see your in form....... Gotta come on up the coast some stage and show us the art of the tangle.
