Hi,
I'm looking for a freewave fin for my Fliika Allwave (90l, 60cm wide) in combination with a 5,7m2 HSM Firelight in marginal freewave conditions (wind 18 knots, small waves/chop). I'm 75kg. I was told that a 21cm center fin with thrusters or a 23cm single fin should be ok. Would you agree? Thanks!
23 strong maybe. For freewave outside of waves I'd go with 24 at least up to 27. 21 with 10s is ok but will be a bit draggy in light winds. I'd stick with a single unless you want to wave ride over jumps and speed.
For wave sailing on a 105 L fast rocker wave board I use 19 CM enter and asymmetrical K4 ezzy 12 cm 3 degree sides. Slower in straight line than recommended 21 cm center and 11 cm symmetrical sides, but turns so much better. I'm 88 kg.

I am 70 Kg and the smallest fin I use with my RRD FSW 90L x 60 wide and 5.4 sail is a 25 cm Maui Ultra Fin X-Wave. Not so sure a 23 would work especially with a bigger sail. It also depends on fin surface and shape.
And of course, when you use a pure WAVE fin, a 21 is plenty for 70 kg riders, but you lose early planing and upwind.
