My fully enclosed trailer works fantastic for holding all my kite gear, and sail boards. Fully lockable with a whirle onto to keep the heat out. I love getting to the beach knowing i got all my boards to chose from and all my kites/ sails..

Peace out, Rob!

I've just flicked through this post so sorry if it's already been mentioned but our garage is unlined so we just have a few rope loops hanging from the rafters to hold the boards that won't fit elsewhere.
Boards and sails stand up between the car and wall.I have a quiver bag that holds c 6 sails so they are all together + a padded bag for masts (takes 4) so easier to load into car and harder to forget things. small stuff goes into 2 tubs.

50mm Square tube welded up and bolted to the wall high enough so the noses of the cars fit underneath. The best idea however is the H shaped timber sitting on the floor, this allows us to drive in until the tire hits providing perfect parking every time where there is only a couple of inches front and back with the garage door closed.

Behind the car is a roll of outdoor carpet that I roll out to rig up on in the garage, then just a short 50m Walk to the water.....

These rack kits were $45 each plus a lth of 70X45 CCA bolted to the wall, racks assembled and screwed onto vertical timber theres 6 surfboards and 4 windsurfers on there. The horizontals 25X25 RHS are a bit short so I banged in some 20mm PVC. I will add some rubber to the horizontals once I get hold of some....

What's best? Store sails lying horizontal or standing up luff end down. Or doesn't make any difference?

If they are wet then you store them vertically

I had a storage problem. Had a look around the shed. Cut a 2m koppa log down the centre to make two long halves. Drilled holes evenly apart about 200mm for the pipe (racks). Fixed it to the wall. Had steel pipe from an old hills hoist washing line. Chopped them up stuck them in. Loaded my gear. Fits everything including the SUP’s.
