Can someone recommend a brand of fixed harness lines that don't swing around on a skinny boom (25mm diameter). The Chinook fixed 30 inch lines I've been using are good on a larger diameter boom, but they always seem to swing and I find myself inadvertently re-hooked in half way down a wave.

The boom is the same diameter as a Severne Enigma. Can someone using Severne lines on an Enigma confirm that they don't swing?

Severne, fixed lines (low swing). Got 34's on my enigma and very little swing.

In the windsurfing dreamtime we used to attach some shock/bungee cord to the top of our harness lines. It made them less likely to slip out when rattling across chop and pulled the harness line up and inch or so when unhooked and gybe/bottom turning.

Interesting! I changed to Da Kine at same time as new harness and boom height tweaking, and have same problem. Maybe it is the swing!
Never had it with Flying Objects, and their clear tube allows you to see wear unlike Da Kine so looks like I may have to go back.

(mine was partly boom height though. A 1-2" drop has helped a lot)

I have found that the Ezzy harness lines (clear tube seeing through) have less amount of swing, in particular compared to the Da Kine. I am currently using 30" Ezzy on a Goya skinny boom.I have found hardest part of modern windsurfing is harness line length and boom height settings. It seemed so much easier in the 1980s with chest harnesses and you just purchased harness lines of one size fits all and they worked.
