I like the concept..hes better on one tack than the other! I was lying down last night trying to play duck gybe technique through my head..dry run so i can do it on the water..I used to be able to do them but I havent been game to try since I restarted sailing..Still getting back to my old form on carve gybes..Might have to read up a bit first..
The first video just shows what some people will do at work when the boss is not looking. Did not think much of his style. Foot straps seemed a bit tight...
Second video was a lot more interesting and showed how to initiate a Vulcan. Guess this is to get you used to the action, but still the old "practice time on the water" can't be beaten.
Personally I'm happy to not fall in (too often) and do a few good carvies. Jumping tends to promote aches & pains.
Looks like my Jman buddy does not like the idea anyway think i might try some of thease ideas in the off season in autumn, when the wind fans shut down.
