I may be able to get away to Maui for 2 weeks in March. I ride an 86L FSW in strong wind (68 kg), but I am still pretty inefficient (probably using at least half a meter more sail than I should be to get planing). I sometimes manage make a carve gybe on a big board. I am sick of waterstarting. Is there enough wind at the Kanaha beach in March to learn carve gybes?
If you have any chance to go to Maui TAKE IT.
Search the forums for photos, gear rental etc
