After loading up the van with a little bit of gear paddle boards included ,shark bay bound .Arrived after a long trip of road house chow and 6 down loaded albums off iTunes .just in time to see the sun set at Denham.and 28 knots .we awoke at 5 am next day ,to be greeted by a 20 knot wind .We sailed till 8 am then due to low tide we called it. We then decided at 12 noon to check little lagoon( flat water ) .It was piping in,we then dragged out the 115 tabou rockets with 6.5 and 7.0 race sails .and ended another 2.5 hour session ..another BBQ ,with the nice BBQ s out there ..we then made our way back to Denham 5 minute drive .it was 28 knots .hard to resist ,we then rigged the 5.0 s and sailed till almost sunset ...totally trashed by then .
this morning was another 6.0 20 knot morning with flattish water nice ....more wind to come .and photos .

Sounds like a lot of fun Tardy, you're definitely getting your sessions in for sure, as the conditions look great. Live it up, and enjoy yourself.

Cheers ..day 3 and sore ...but will never give up....wind quiet at the mo but up to 25 knot this afternoon ..the wait is resting time .its hot enough for a beer ..ok

having that much gear in the van ..never thought I'd be happy to have a reverse camera built into the new toyota s .
but no driving much for a week and we leave our sail rigged .

the water is very warm up here ....and nice fresh fish and lobsters at the pub.

How long did it take you to drive from nsw? which way did you go? Next year I have long service leave and I too want to go to WA. I was thinking to stop at Mallacoota, Sandy Point , Lake George, and... ?

Yeah funny ..no I flew from Sydney .then a 9.5 hour drive from Perth .

if driving from Sydney I would stop over at lakes entrance ,to name a few and sail right through .
depends how much time you have ,I have done the nullabour ,before ,if driving all that way why not enjoy other spots too.

3 days .

we had a great day on the little lagoon today .20-25 knot .6.0 and 6.5 .speed day .
i was on a fully down hauled 6.0 ,boys on the 6.5 - 6.7 had trouble hanging on in the end
no weed fin needed here .

some run s I took way out over the black weed 5 minutes one way .my friend s where ,thinking this was a no go zone ,but its only deep water and called shark bay .no sharks here . 7.0 and 115 rocket tabou.beautiful easy sail.
