It's on !!!
from 18th to 23th of november !

www.pwaworldtour.com/index.php?id=38&tx_pwaevent_pi1%5BshowUid%5D=293&cHash=9a1388d6d8716b273247f0040873b7d0

If you're keen and don't want to let Julien Ventalon represent Oz on his own you can apply for wild cards.

The bottom part of the pwa rankings might not be coming over (their season is done..) so we will have quite a few seats !!

Grab your best fin and come over !!

There was a 2 year notice .... it's just that people are not interested in competing here, that's all

Don't remind Julien, he bought a foil board just for it :-/

As the only PWA event in our region I would of thought more communication between PWA/AWA to ensure our top sailors are present.
Surely the annual green island "nationals" and/or the individual state series can decide on a given amount of placings for Australian entries?

Why wouldn't the AWA organize a PWA event ? Surely it would draw even more pro riders to this side of the planet if it was just before or after noumea!

From Australia, Air Calin give you a free extra 23kg to fly your windsurfing kit on top of your normal baggage allowance to New Caledonia. Pack a slalom board and rig (in my case at 75kg a 67 wide and a 7.0m) and a selection of fins, and go free sailing in either Ansa Vata Bay, or where the PWA is being held this year 3kms around the corner. It's sensational blasting amongst the locals, as well as the pros tuning up, very motivating, and you get to watch a fantastic event too. I went two years ago and it was a superb week.

I had my holidays booked in and plans to spend the money this year and compete but unfortunately my injury has prevented my from doing what i call a bucket list thing to do. Missing the Australian titles this year as well.
It looks amazing and would be an experience of a life time to complete in a pwa event.
maybe 2 years time hopefully before I am to old and run down **** I think that's already started lol.

I was thinking of going over and filming the slalom racing...I think I could get some really good footage. Thinking of ways to save some money.... can anyone offer accomodation for the event if in return I get some drone footage of you there???

Let me know ASAP... if I can get free accomodation I'll book a ticket.

Thanks guys!!
