I have updated my Kitesurf racing watch app for Garmin watches, to give more information during race start countdown. Now includes local time, Countdown, Distance to start line, speed and a seperate screen with VMG required and actual VMG directly at the line. Feedback welcome - other features below

I have created an online Group for people to share their Sailing / Kitesurfing / Windsurfing activities when using Garmin Sail Racer watch app. You can join the group via the links below and get some idea of some of the information that can be shared when you complete an activity. For users who do not own a Garmin watch, but wish to purchase one, I recommend the following tips.
For water sports - touch screen is of no use due to water splash, so the more buttons your watch has, the better the experience will be.The larger the watch is, the larger the font will appear, so I recommend the largest watch size you can get so the information is easier to read.I recommend the Fenix series or equivalent. They have incredible battery life, with the solar models lasting from 3 - 4 weeks to 3 months depending on the power plan your watch has selected, and activity use.
