I much prefer this one, shows what happens when you make something too light and too cheap. One of many says the rumours.

It looks just like a big spa bath ......with the jets turned just a little to high....popular spot.

Yeah, that's my gear. Was casually drifting past the rocks trying to make it to the channel before a mast high set came through. Got absolutely smashed. Wouldn't end well for anybody.

That's an old prototype Philip is using too. The new Blade looks sick.

Cmon Ben, decent wave gear should be able to survive being smashed on rocks by a ton of white water.

Bugger flimsy mono film, x-ply and all that carbon my next sail will be 2 mm checker plate with a heat treated steel mast and boom. Steel is real man

Been pretty fun over here. Wind has been consistent and have had 2-3 medium swells that have hung around for a couple of days each time. Had a couple of days in the beginning that were close to as good as it gets. Had some sick surf the first week too. Don't think I'll ever complain about the crowds at home again though, we've got it pretty good.

Slowly getting the hang of it. Still having some moments where I could win kook of the day but feel like my consistency is improving and I'm learning heaps every time I go out. Have been trying to put in about 2 hours at Hookipa and 2 hours at Sprecks every day.

Severne, Scotty and Milky are here too so they're good entertainment. Fun watching everybody adapt to the other tack.
