Well, my wurfing (new word for windsurfing) buddie and I decided it would be a good idea to have some form of communication method, especially as I am still building up my wurfing strength/stamina, and have unfavourable winds/currents that could carry me out to sea. Also with covid, we often launched from different places, and lost sight of each other.

He has this radio that i didnt want to wear on my body, as wearing a life jacket is enough!
I came up with this:
Fluro strap (cut to length) from Supercheap Auto, a piece of dense foam, the stano screws (purchased washers) from the foot strap that were there in the first place. I'll never use it, as im too short. ENJOY :)

Looks like it's in the firing line for a good catapult!

Dear Friend,
Idea is good. However protection is not enough. Because of speed, heavy wind and jibes.
Bye Melih..

I thought that to but as AUS814 pointed out it's the rear strap. Not used to seeing the straps so far forward.
