I know some windsurfers think our weather is simialr to Antartica however check out
and see what you are missing out on, regularly. An the best bit is u can get to anywhere in the state within 5 hrs or less. A crowded day here is 4 to 5 windsurfers.I think we are painfully aware what we are missin' out on after the vids posted a few weeks back from a comp you had down there.
Awesome vid and awesome conditions, keep them comming. It helps us poor NSW sods to get through the current doldrums until the winder southerlies kicks in (they should be here by now).
A trip to tassie is even higher up on my "must do" list now
What are we missing out on....
A 16mm thick wetsuit
and
3 Adams apples
It's also a bloody long way to drive from Manduraaaarrrrrrggggghhhh for a sail
you guys are such pussies.
It's not that cold down there. the water temp is the same a margaret river and in summer it's about the same air temp. a good 3mm will see you through summers cold days.
Jimmy where you at in tassie

I used to surf with a Tasmaniam refugee.
He emigrated over to WA in the middle of winter and surfed in a springy and bagged us out the rest of winter.

Hi Curac,
I live in Lton, not up to the level where i can go out in conditions like on the vids, only just starting to get into the waves but mostly do bump and crash.
Cheers
Jimmy
Finally got time to watch the vid,
Awesome work boys
You don't want to put it out there to much you'll end up with swarms of Punters with waves like that
man i lived in tassie for 23 years. i used to do a bit of sailing but since moved to WA and taken up windsurfing. seriously thinking about moving back and getting a rock licking job on the west coast. it moght be cold but least get some wind and waves. mostly onshore though isnt it. any way awesome vid
mostly cross shore. on west coast.
Pugwash no you can't borrow my car. but maybe you can buy it..
a few more sailors at marrawah wouldn't hurt. and there are lots of spots so you could take off to some place else. if it got crowded.
besides it would probably be a bit like margs. lots of awesome spots but everyone just sails the easiest to access spot. so you can get away from the crowd easy.
