I was just having a look at forecast for next weekend and noticed it is looking incredibly favourable for a Burrum run but low tide is at 10.30am on Sunday morning and not very low at only 1.2metres (neap tide I assume). Would the bank still be exposed to get some flat water - I suppose the current would be almost non existent too.

I very much doubt there would be any bank at 1.2m

Yes that's right but I don't have to drive 4 & a half hours for choppy water. I have all I need plus more right in my back yard.

Geoff,
Thanks for your expert local knowledge. Hopefully I haven't jinxed it and the forecast holds true and I can redeem my leave pass. It's a shame this didn't happen on the weekend just gone.

Gaz,
Keep us up to speed with your where abouts too.
