Some of you may remember a post by fangman way back in October 2014 'Loreena is dead'. Well today is the reincarnation, the raising of The Titanic, the rise of the Pheonix..

Is this real..or is it just fantasy...will it do the fandango?

*This board has been rendered innocuous and is no longer a Wind Tech. This is artwork has been created by Adam Prince as a tribute to the Art & Science of Windsurfing. No designers or corporations were harmed in the making of this art.

^ That name was given by Elmo with reference to amount of plastic surgery Joan Rivers had done over the years. I like it because she was a fearless satirist comic, ergo the pun.
There are a lot of semantic's and references in the board and the graphics - some become apparent when you read the original thread and some are more current. Some are obvious and some are not..
STUDIO 54 is a reference to a famous nightclub that Ms Rivers was at the opening of. 54 is also the width of the bottom of the board. Fangman referred to the previous deck pad as the Dancefloor, having been made from a gymnastic floor mat..
It's very much a Tribute to the original shaper - someone I consider a mentor - and his designs, past and present. A mark of admiration and respect.

Argh I have that bloody Tenacious D song stuck in my head now

Well done on the refurb or is it more the case of a nip & tuck a la Jocelyn Wildenstein (Google her if unawares)!
